I have spoken today with a woman who will come to Samasati and produce a video on the history of this place. It has always been a dream, @ a certain point in my life, as well as in the life of other three people it started to take form and transform itself from dream to reality. And now it is there. December is a beautiful month to come and visit and get out of the franzy of the first world. On the Caribbean there is no franzy, it is still a place which is back in time. Roads are bad, so cars have to drive slow, lots of people in bicycles, scooters, horses... teh rythm are just deifferent. Everything is "rich", form the nature to the food you eat. It is really nice to sit back - even inside yourself - and watch your life as a movie, or just sit back and have some time simply to enjoy.

When the days get shorter and colder in the States it is nice to plan a trip to the warm of the Caribbean. The weather is generally sunny at this time of the year, the temperature around the 80 during the day and 70 at night time, the ocean just warm and perfect for swimming. The nice thing about Samasati is that you will get a "real" immersion in the Caribbean of Costa Rica. Not a touristic version of it. You can choose between the many excursions offered by locals in the area...from canopy tour to snorkelling, from visit at a cacao farm to visit a local shaman. It is beautiful. You can walk to a waterfall, crossing through a river in teh jungle, or horseback riding on the beaches of Cahuita where there is no end... only few days will seem like long time... surely enough to recharge your batteries, forget for a while of the franzy of the first world and remember what you really like, who you really are...

Costa Rica, Nature, Yoga and Meditation , perfect ingridients for a perfect vacation. Samasati is ever-changing and ever-evolving. It is always a "becoming" and in constant movement. The forest is vibrant, the birds with shiny colors are loud and alive, the trees are so majestic. There is so much space and one can enjoy the adventures or the beach or simply sit there, at the jacuzzi, letting yourself go. This is what i like to do and, when i am away form Samasati, I have inside the memory of myself sitting on the jacuzzi deck looking at the beauty around me. I have alot of gratitude for a place like Samasati. I do believe it makes a difference in people when they come and visit. Listen from the depth of your heart.
