SAMASATI NATURE RETREAT COSTA RICA American Way magazine called Samasati Nature Retreat a “ Jungle Gem”. Overlooking the Caribbean Sea, only 10 minutes away from the beach, tucked within 250 acres of tropical primary forest, Samasati offers daily Yoga and meditation classes, spa treatments, gourmet vegetarian cuisine and comfortable lodging. Among the many activities at Samasati, you will enjoy daytime strolls on the white beaches, snorkeling at the reefs, hikes to the waterfall, canopy rides in the jungle, visit at the local shaman or the more adventurous white water rafting. Experience the wilderness and natural abundance of Costa Rica, while being pampered in an exotic and exquisite setting… Our certified Yoga instructors and massage therapists will help you keep your body fit and relaxed during your holiday. Styles practiced are Hatha, Iyengar, Vinyasa, Ashtanga; the duration of each Yoga class is approximately 1-1/2 hours and they are held in one of the two secluded Yoga studios in the morning before breakfast and in the early evening just before sunset. Howler monkeys, colored parrots and unique tucans are the only spectators. Samasati hosts Yoga seminars and Yoga Teacher trainings as well. Also, throughout the year, we offer week-long retreats, “Yoga in the Caribbean” and special all inclusive customized vacations. Samasati is ideal for individuals and perfect for groups. Sylvia,

Enjoyed the account on Zaadz (with great photos!) of your healing time at Samasati.

Recently my wife Susan and I fell in love with Costa Rica and its people.  After I retired last year from 25 years at Tompkins County County Mental Health, we bought a 16 acre farm near Puriscal.  Now we're looking to build a small community there.  It is an ideal retreat space.

Please take a look at www.fincasangha.com .

All the best to you!
