Spring, Summer offers in Costa Rica.Yoga, forest and meditation
Dear Samasati,
Kelli and I returned home last Monday from our stay at Samasati, and wanted to let you know what an incredibly wonderful trip it was for us. Everything from the setting, the bungalow, the food, the atmosphere, the yoga, and perhaps most of all the wonderful staff made it the best trip we’ve ever taken together.
We took the Samasati trip for three reasons: one, we’d always wanted to visit Costa Rica (the REAL Costa Rica, not the tourist version); two, it was our 27th wedding anniversary; and three, yoga. We are pleased with all three decisions now that the trip is over.We were asked by everyone at the retreat how we learned about Samasati. In case you are interested, we saw the ad in an older issue of YOGA magazine, and we then went to the website. You guys took it from there. We could not be happier with our decision.
The grounds of Samasati almost seem like a Disney World attraction. One of the other guests described them as “magical” and we agree. And yet, we were always aware that we were as much in the jungle as you can be, so there is no doubt in our minds that we visited the REAL Costa Rica. We also made three trips into Puerto Viejo, which was also a real treat for us. And we can’t wait to get back to Punta Uva beach. The yoga was exceptional, the yoga teacher made every session a delight. And she is a lovely person on top of her ability as a yogi. For that matter, everyone, from Lucy to the entire staff, was polite, cordial, friendly, helpful and professional. The other guests felt the same way we do. Kelli and I want to add a special word of thanks for the wonderful way that the girls decorated our table on the occasion of our anniversary dinner. Unfortunately the pictures we took somehow became “lost” in our digital camera’s cyberspace, and we have no visible, tangible memory to share with anyone, but the image of our table lit with candles, and the flowers and palm fronds decorating the area around our table will stay with us forever.
We will return someday, hopefully sooner than later.

That sounds amazing! I've been dying to go to Costa Rica and I love different cultures. Speaking of which, there is a new interfaith CD by Kosmic Music coming out called Sacred Blessings. The songs are picked by inspirational speaker Anthony Robbins. I can't wait to get it!
